Congratulations to Shirley Kalvinsky, Associate Broker, for winning the Sussex County Association of REALTORS® (SCAOR) 2021 Educator of the Year Award! This award recognizes excellence in teaching by honoring the instructor who has made the most outstanding contributions to SCAOR's educational efforts. Shirley was surprised with this award while teaching a Zoom class. She had been nominated by several individuals, whose comments included, "Shirley's commitment to preparing new agents for the world of real estate during class and after class is incredible. Shirley is often contacted as a resource when agents have questions, and this speaks to the respect others have for her knowledge of our profession."

Always eager to “give where we live”, our company was once again proud to organize a local Christmas toy drive to support Toys for Tots! This fantastic nonprofit was created at the behest of the United States Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys for less-fortunate children during the Christmas season. Our agents and staff from all three offices worked together to make this year’s drive a resounding success, and we were able to donate an impressive number of items to help our community’s children. Marissa Murr, REALTOR® on the Bryce Lingo & Shaun Tull Team, coordinated this year’s event and remarked, "This year’s Toys for Tots drive has been a great success. It's always wonderful to see how our Jack Lingo, REALTOR® agents rally together to care for those in our community.
On Sunday, December 5, the first-ever Trees of Cheer event was held at The Beacon Inn in Lewes in support of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware! This fun “tree-decorating party” was coordinated by our very own Chelsea Bristow, REALTOR®, of the Carrie Lingo Team. Participants decorated several Christmas trees for children whose families are staying at one of Delaware’s Ronald McDonald Houses this holiday season. Attendance at the event was even higher than anticipated, and an excellent time was had by all.
