Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?

I joined Jack Lingo, REALTOR® in 2017.

Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?

Immediately. My wife, Merritt Cooch had joined Jack Lingo, REALTOR® the year before so I was able to get a good feel for the company.

Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?

Their knowledge, experience, and commitment to providing the highest level of service are second to none, but the biggest difference is their care for the people that work with them. Even if your last name isn't Lingo, you still feel like part of the family.

Q. When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?

I grew up in a family of carpenters, so I saw firsthand the craftsmanship, the problem-solving, and the pride that comes with building homes. I knew I wanted to work in the real estate industry when I realized that my love for homes went beyond just how they were built–I was fascinated by how they were lived in, how they evolved over time, and how they could change hands and take on new stories. Real estate sales felt like the perfect way to combine my appreciation for construction with my interest in business and the human side of homes.

Q. What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?

My proudest moment was winning an award for client satisfaction from Google, recognizing me for my perfect 5-star rating from my clients. I always strive to exceed my client's expectations, so receiving an award for client satisfaction makes all the hard work worth it.

Q. How long have you been in the real estate business?

I have been a REALTOR® since 2017. Becoming a REALTOR® is one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. I never thought I would love a job this much.

Q. Where did you go to college?

I attended Rutgers University, where I studied Criminal Justice and American Government.

Q. Reveal one of your hidden talents.

I am very good at the horse racing game at Funland (way better than my wife).

Q. Name something you could not live without.

Haagen-Dazs Coffee ice cream. It's the perfect treat.

Q. What is your favorite hobby?

I love playing basketball. I can't wait until my children are old enough to play so I can have an excuse to put in a full court in our backyard (don't tell my wife).

Q. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A professional baseball player, which is still the case. If a scout from the Phillies is reading this, I am open to a Spring Training invitation.

Q. If you could build anything, what would it be?

I would love to build an Oceanfront home. I would love the challenge of designing the structure, the floor plan, and the interior to maximize the views of the surrounding natural beauty and functionality of the space. That would be such a fun and rewarding process. I should clarify that this only applies if I get to live in the home. If it's for someone else, then never mind.

Q. If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?

I would love to visit South Africa. There is so much beauty in the landscape, the culture, and the wildlife. That would be magical.

Q. Who is your personal hero?

Abraham Lincoln. He is the personal embodiment of what it means to be an American. He is hardworking, humble, empathetic, inclusive, humorous, principled, and decisive. It was all these qualities that allowed him to successfully guide our country through one of its darkest periods.

Q. What is your favorite quote?

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is to try just one more time."~Thomas Edison
