About Shawn

Shawn's love for the Delaware beaches began in college at Rutgers University, spending his summers working in Rehoboth Beach. In 2009, Shawn moved to Rehoboth Beach to live the coastal life full-time where he and his father began a historic home restoration company to utilize their passions for history and carpentry. They successfully restored numerous historic homes throughout the state, from New Castle down to Rehoboth Beach. In 2017, when his father decided it was time to retire, Shawn jumped at the opportunity to join his wife, Merritt Cooch, as a REALTOR® on the Carrie Lingo Team.

Since 2017, Shawn has been one of the top-selling Realtors in the State of Delaware, utilizing his deep knowledge of home construction, in-depth market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and high level of personalized service to deliver exceptional results for his clients. In his free time, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife (Merritt), their two children (Jack and Claire), and their four rescue dogs (Winnie, Hunny, Buca, and Bear). He is a very active member of his community, volunteering at local animal shelters and dog rescue organizations. His dream is to open an animal sanctuary in Southern Delaware to provide a loving and safe home to those animals that need it most.
